Module T: Tournament

This is a 48-page booklet which includes a complete set of SFB tournament rules and 16 tournament cruiser SSD's, plus two countersheets. It should include an 8-page supplement updating revised SSD's. However, there have been additional changes to the tournament cruisers, which are all available online at ADB's Tournament Information page.)

The tournament rules themselves only take up 7 pages, plus 16 for the SSD's. The remaining space includes a 4-page fiction story by Bruce Graw, plus extensive advice on running and promoting a tournament. It also has six new scenarios which are tournament in style but not official formats. In the last 8 pages it has rules for tournaments of Star Fleet Missions, F&E, and Prime Directive.

For more information on in general on tournaments, please see my Tournament Advice page, which has a brief overview of the rules as well as various statistics and discussion.

Module T as it stands is of limited use. you can get the tournament cruiser SSD's on-line, and the basic tournament set-up conditions are quite short -- they could easily fit in 3 pages. Thus, only those who are very serious about tournament play should get it, unless they do not have access to the SSD's and rules otherwise.
