CONJECTURAL SHIPS (R?.C1) DEATH SWORD BATTLESHIP (BB): The Death Sword battleship was never anything more than a design. The Enclave did not have the resources or the need for such a ship because, the Enclave simply was not large enough. The ship was designed because of some high level talks on the possibility that the Federation might have the Enclave build a battleship for them. Nevertheless, the Enclave designers did their best to create a good design. This ship has four reloads for each of its ASM launchers. This ship would carry a SWAC if one was available. It could also carry heavy fighters and shuttles. As with other large Enclave hulls, there is a great deal of doubt as to whether the Death Sword could get off the ground again, even if it could land safely. The proper systems for landing were designed into the ship anyway. Did not have a formal escort group. Spare shuttles include: 1 x A, 1 x F and 2 x admins. Refits: This ship is eligible for the ASM refit. Variants include: Divine Wrath SSCS (R?.C3), War Bow BBV (R?.C2) This ship has a tunnel bay (J1.58). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic (theoretically); bonus. (R?.C2) WAR BOW HEAVY CARRIER (BBV): The War Bow was designed to carry four full squadrons, including one squadron of heavy fighters. Had it been built, It would have surpassed the record of the Federation SCS; 42 to 30. This ship has four reloads for each of its ASM launchers. This ship could carry heavy fighters both externally and internally. As with other large Enclave hulls, there is a great deal of doubt as to whether the War Bow could get off the ground again, even if it could land safely. This ship would carry two SWACs if available. Did not have a formal escort group. Spare shuttles include: 3 x A, 6 x F and 2 x admins. Refits: This ship is eligible for the ASM refit. This ship has no variants. This ship has a tunnel bay (J1.58). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic (theoretically); bonus. (R?.C3) DIVINE WRATH SPACE CONTROL SHIP: This design takes the BB hull to its limits. With two PF and three fighter squadrons and its own firepower, it would be a truly awesome opponent. Two PFs can be docked internally for repair and there are four external repair points. The Divine Wrath would always carry one manned and one Ghost Rider PF squadron. This ship has four reloads for each of its ASM launchers. This ship can carry a SWAC if one is available. This ship could carry heavy fighters. As with other large Enclave hulls, there is a great deal of doubt as to whether the Divine Wrath could get off the ground again, even if it could land safely. This ship could carry heavy fighters. (R?.C4) MY! THAT'S A BIG SWORD HEAVY DREADNOUGHT (DNH): As the Enclave began laying the keel for the new DN+ in Y186, there was some debate about creating a heavy dreadnought design instead. A design similar to this one was put forward and assessed. The resulting report decided that the Enclave did not have the time and the resources to do the necessary research to make this design a viable warship. The Enclave's experience with the Bastard Sword BCH probably was a deciding factor in this. If they had actually built this ship, they would have come up with a better name. This ship has four reloads for each of its ASM launchers. This ship could carry a SWAC if one was available. It could also carry heavy fighters and shuttles. As with other large Enclave hulls, there is a great deal of doubt as to whether the DNH could get off the ground again, even if it could land safely. The proper systems for landing were designed into the ship anyway. Did not have a formal escort group. Spare shuttles include: 1 x A, 1 x F and 2 x admins. Refits: This ship is eligible for the ASM refit. Variants include: My! That's a Big Crossbow DNHS (R?.C6), My! That's a Big Bow DNHV (R?.C5) This ship has a tunnel bay (J1.58). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic (theoretically); bonus. (R?.C5) MY! THAT'S A BIG BOW HEAVY CARRIER (DNHV): This is the carrier version of the DNH. It is doubtful that a design was even ever put forward. If such a ship were built, it would probably look like this. The normal compliment of fighters for this ship includes; 8 Drone armed (Fs), 8 Photon armed (As), 8 ASM armed (Ps) and 12 heavy fighters (of any type). There are actually two launch tubes on each side of the ship. As with other large Enclave hulls, there is a great deal of doubt as to whether the DNHV could get off the ground again, even if it could land safely. (R?.C6) MY! THAT'S A BIG CROSSBOW SPACE CONTROL SHIP (DNHS): This is what a space control ship on a DNH hull would probably look like. This ship has eight fighters of each type and could carry a SWAC if available. The repair bay war large enough to dock two PFs internally. Docking two PFs internally will cut the Fighter bay in half although docking one will not. There are actually two launch tubes on each side of the ship. As with other large Enclave hulls, there is a great deal of doubt as to whether the DNHS could get off the ground again, even if it could land safely. (R?.C7) SENTINEL SUPER SCOUT LIGHT CRUISER (DNLSc): The concept of the super scout based on a DNL hull was one that was talked about in every major races command centers. Had the Enclave had the hulls available, they might have built a unit similar to this. This carries a large shuttle bay so that it can also serve in a limited survey ship role. This ship has no variants. This ship has a tunnel bay (J1.58). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic (theoretically); bonus. (R?.C8) BASTARD SWORD HEAVY BATTLE CRUISER (BCH): In Y180 the Enclave was attempting to launch their first dreadnought. This was being delayed by a series of technical delays. The Enclave began plans for launching the Bastard Sword BCH to serve as fleet flagships until the dreadnoughts could be launched. Fortunately for the Enclave, technical experts from the Federation were able to solve these problems and the dreadnoughts were launched only a few months behind schedule. The work proceeded on this class at a less hurried pace. The design proved unsuitable. Eventually, extensive modifications of this design lead to the development of the DNL. This ship has four reloads for each of its ASM launchers. Refits: This ship is eligible for the ASM refit. This ship has two bays. Transfers by (J1.59). Variants include: Hunting Bow BCV (R?.C9) and the Double Crossbow BCS (R?.C10). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic; bonus. (R?.C9) HUNTING BOW HEAVY BATTLE CARRIER (BCV): The Hunting Bow BCV is the carrier version of the Bastard Sword. The design goes a long way towards correcting the flaws in the Long Bow CCV. This ship had the same design flaws that BCH did. A single hull that was initially to be of this class was completed as a DNLV. Spare Shuttles include 4 x Fs, 2 x As, and 2 x admins. Would carry a SWAC when available. It could carry heavy fighters. The escort group and fighter types are the same as the Long Bow CCV (R?.6). This ship has no variants. Refits: This ship is eligible for the ASM refit. This ship has a tunnel bay (J1.58). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic; bonus. (R?.C10) DOUBLE CROSSBOW BATTLE CONTROL SHIP (BCS): A reasonable design, capable of equalling any of the BCSs. Stronger than the Heavy Crossbow CCS in most respects, but it has worse power problems. This design eventually evolved into the DNLS. Spare shuttles include 4 x Fs, 2 x As and 2 x admins. It could carry heavy fighters. One PF can be docked internally for repairs and there are two external repair positions. The ASMs had four reloads. The escort group would be the same as the Heavy Crossbow CCS. Refits: This ship is eligible for the ASM refit. This ship has no variants. This ship has a tunnel bay (J1.58). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic; bonus. (R?.C11) VORPORAL SWORD FAST PHASER CRUISER (CFP): A much talked about, but never built variant of the Slashing Sword CF. Other than exchanging the Photons for Phasers, the two ships are identical. Refits: This ship is eligible for the ASM refit. This ship has two bays. Transfers by (J1.59). This ship has no variants. Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic; bonus. (R?.C12) SWISS ARMY KNIFE HEAVY WAR DESTROYER (HDW): In the time period that other races were creating their HDWs, the Enclave did not see the need for such a unit of its own. They had plenty of the support ships and were actually secretly producing Federation HDWs for sale to Starfleet Command. A design was created and it is possible that a prototype ship was built in Y182. It is unclear weather or not any more were built during the ISC or Andromedan Wars. The HDW expanded the rear hull rather than lengthening it as had been done with all other major modifications in the Enclave. There is some question as to the Aerodynamic stability of the design. This ship has no variants. This ship has no refits. This ship has a tunnel bay (J1.58). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic; bonus. (R?.C12) ENCLAVE PELLET BOW STRIKE CARRIER (DDVS): This ship is a variant of the Spear DDV, adding heavy fighter linkages to the wings. This ship was part of a series intended to be light space control ships. Although this program was widely discussed, it was finally decided that it was not practical due to power and drone storage deficiencies. This ship would have the same escort group as the Spear DDV. This ship has no variants. This ship has no refits. This ship has a tunnel bay (J1.58). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic; bonus. (R?.C13) UTILITY KNIFE POLICE FLAGSHIP (FLG): This ship is recorded as a variant of the Blade Frigate, but there is no other mention of it in the records. In a normal fleet this would not be unusual, but the unique style of the Orion Civil War made it unlikely that such a unit would go unmentioned, if it was active. There is evidence that the Enclave operated a Federation FLG at least until the ISC war. Some experts contend that the name of the Enclave FLG was the Federation. If it was made, it had an expanded rear hull like the HDW, which may have interfered with its aerodynamic performance. This ship has no variants. This ship has no refits. This ship has a tunnel bay (J1.58). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic; bonus. (R?.C14) WRIST ROCKET ESCORT STRIKE CARRIER (FFVS): This variant of the Javelin FFV is another in the line of proposed light space control ships. There is some question as to whether the wings of the ship were large enough to contain the heavy fighter support facilities. This ship would have been placed in the same role as the Javelin FFV and would not have any formal escorts, as it is considered an escort itself. This ship has no variants. This ship has no refits. This ship has a tunnel bay (J1.58). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic; bonus. (R?.C15) SLING VERY LIGHT CARRIER (CTV): This is another design which no one is sure whether any were built or not. None were built during the Orion Civil War, but the records stop recording such small units after that period. If it was built, it would have been the smallest non-Hydran carrier ever built. It is also possible that gatling phasers would not have been deployed on it. Fighters would have been whatever was left over at the time. Escorts would have probably been one or two normal CTs. It is possible that this ship would have been used as an escort for larger carriers as well. This ship would have been the only Enclave carrier that could not carry heavy fighters. Variants include the Slingshot CTVS (R?.C16). This ship has no refits. Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic; bonus. (R?.C16) SLINGSHOT VERY LIGHT STRIKE CARRIER (CTVS): The smallest of the light space control series. It was actually more likely to be a viable ship than the FFVS due to its large, aerodynamic wings. This ship would have been placed in the same role as the Sling CTV and would not have any formal escorts. This ship has no variants. This ship has no refits. Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic; bonus. (R?.C17) BOMBARD BOMBARDMENT CRUISER (CB[T]): When the Enclave began constructing the first of the TGXs, there was some discussion of converting the current tugs to a combat variant. The Bombard design was put forward as a supliment to the Catapult CBs. The Enclave finally decided that it liked having the tugs where they were and the design was shelved. This ship retained the ability to carry pods, although the structural bracing was to be reduced. It was projected that it would be able to carry two pod weights, which could be either a single double weight pod or two single wieght pods. This ship has no variants. This ship has no refits. This ship has a tunnel bay (J1.58). Landing (P2.43): gravity, powered, aerodynamic; bonus, unless carying a pod. with pod; bonus.
